Crickdose: Three Things That We Learned From India’s Test Series Win Over South Africa

India have won the third test against South Africa in a convincing manner. A 3-0 scoreline in the series indicates how dominant India were. So, here are the top three things that we learned from India’s test series win over South Africa:

1) Wonderful Rohit

What a wonderful series Rohit Sharma has had. He has played a series of superb innings for his country. In this match, his double century helped India in piling up a mammoth total. He was also named as the man of the match. Rohit needs to keep this form going and ensure that he plays with the same authority when India is playing abroad.

2) Superb Shami

Mohammad Shami has become one of the most reliable Indian bowlers in recent times. This match proved it once again. He managed to outfox the South African batsmen and took crucial wickets for India. His partnership with Umesh Yadav also proved to be extremely successful, indicating that India can challenge the other big teams overseas.

3) Hamza Fight

Zubayr Hamza was only playing his second test match. But he looked the most accomplished South African batsman in this test. His fifty in the first innings showed that he has the ability to bat well against the best of bowling attacks. If South Africa continue to persist with him in the future, he could become an important player.

To sum up, India have once again shown what a great team they are. They have not lost a home test series in seven years, winning 11 on the trot. They will be hoping that this run will continue in the near future, and it is looking extremely likely that it will!
