India have hammered Bangladesh in their two-test series. The hosts were extremely clinical and managed to win both matches comprehensively. So, here are the top three things that we learned from India’s test series win over Bangladesh:
1) Amazing Agarwal
Mayank Agarwal was simply outstanding for India in this series, and he showed his class once again. He managed to give India another good start and set up the platform for the hosts. He has looked in superb form, and he will be hoping to continue this in the next few series. He looks like a superb prospect for his country.
2) Superb Shami
Although Ishant Sharma won the man of the series award, it was Mohammad Shami who got the more important wickets for India. He bowled with superb pace and managed to trouble the Bangladeshi batsmen with his pace. He will be hoping to continue his superb form in the coming matches.
3) Poor Mahmudullah
In the absence of Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh wanted Mahmudullah to step up his game with both bat and ball. However, he proved to be a major disappointment for his team. He simply did not do enough for his team. Once again, it proved that Bangladesh is highly reliant on its superstars like Tamim and Shakib.
To sum up, this series showed us that India are by far the best test team at the moment. They have been extremely consistent, and totally deserve their place at the top of the World Test Championship.
